Beyond the Sea – Stories from the Algarve. There will be a launch party at Galeria Porca Preta, Monchique on Thursday June 10 (Dia de Portugal) at 6.30 – 8.30 pm where they’ll be live music and refreshments (and a short reading!) and at the Griffin Bookshop in Almancil at 6.00pm on Thursday June 24 (without music but with refreshments and a reading/chat)

The Iberian Sea School is an MCA / RYA recognised Sailing & Motor Cruising School in Portugal, the MCA are the 'Maritime and Coastguard Agency' in Britain who are responsible for issueing all Marine Qualifications on behalf of the British government, they delegate this responsibility for training and examining skippers of 'pleasure craft' to the RYA who are the Royal Yachting Association.
